Hi Bro. Know you are resting in peace, surrounded by angels and probably being mischevious into the bargain. Just saying hi and sending all my love. Rose came down last night and we talked and talked about you all night long. Was great reminiscing about you and our childhoods and even talking about your last days brought you closer to Rose and I. Rose is dealing with it all as best she can although she is hurting so bad, but like me, she wants to remember all the great memories and honour your memory by doing all we can with each day. We laughed remembering all the funny things we did as children and adults, cos growing up never stopped us from fooling around and acting like adolescents. One of our favourite memories is when you took us to a party and on the way home, in the middle of the street, we stood there shouting 'Taxi, Taxi!!', even though our house was literally a few feet away. It was just so funny and silly and we couldnt all stop laughing our heads off. Remember how, as kids, we used to 'borrow' mum's blankets and sheets and sneak into the garden with them and proceed to build our very own tents with them with the help of the fence and then climb into our 'tents' and sit there for hours chatting and making jokes and just laughing and having a great time? Eventually, when mum found out we were using her blankets she said to keep the blue one and we used it for years and years in the garden. Remember how we used to play at being athletes in the back yard, timing each other as we raced up and down the garden, over and over, till we dropped with exhaustion. You used to be so cocky, giving Rose and I a head start, cos you were the fastest of the three of us. You used to laugh at me and Rose, as we practised our tap-dancing steps in the garden. I remember all the piggy-backs you used to give us, even after you dropped us and we cut our knees to shreds, we still carried on. All the games of football, netball and rounders we used to play out there. All the times we climbed the apple trees and sat up there for hours just chatting. It was brilliant and wonderful. So many fab memeories and recollections, Bro. At school, you were always so protective and loving. No-one troubled us cos they knew you were our Big Brother and we benefitted from the respect they showed to you. Rose and me were talking about the times we came to watch you play football when you were still in school. You used to play almost every weekend - we travelled with you and the team in that huge van - remember - in rain, sunshine, ice and snow. That's love for you, right! So many great and funny times we all had, Bro. So many more, which I will recall another time, cos they bring a smile to my face and a warmth to my heart and soul. Thanks for being my big Brother, Alvin. You were cool and wicked. Thanks Darling Bro. Love you always. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
